Inspirations

A list of inspirations that have gotten me to where I am and have developed me into the person I welcome greeting every morning. Beyond being a vtuber, I also relentlessly work on accommodating and accepting all walks of life, much like the well-represented individuals that are on this list. Consider this my "island of misfit toys".

Slayer

To anyone that has watched my streams for more than five minutes, they know my deep appreciation for the metal band Slayer. The direct inspiration is the high-octane intensity with every show, even in the deep face of adversary. Not a welcomed band (originally) in the public eye, scrutiny came and went for the eclectic metal band. There is not much I can compare to the thrill and joy I receive listening to Slayer, but it is a joy to offer them to generations that may have never of them before being introduced to me.

Cannibal Corpse

While a potentially controversial take, I believe Cannibal Corpse to be (while an edgy metal band) quite ahead of it's time for where they were in the 80s and 90s. The constant push against establishment standards and expectations, at the detriment of 'popular' metal bands like Metallica and Slayer; Cannibal Corpse has always stood it's ground on maintaining a grotesque and uncomfortable feeling with their lyricism and mind-altering music. Pushing the agenda and expectations is a deep connection to what I attempt to accomplish with every stream. Why would I wanna be the same as everyone else, when I can be the oddity that others understand?

ProtonJon

Protonjon is one of the earliest content creators I have found myself enjoying. Watching his Super Mario World Rom Hacks, his Pepsi-Man playthrough, Super Mario Bros 3 glitched cartridge, and his growth in The Runaway Guys, I have a deep appreciation for the exposure to content creation Protonjon has offered to me. I have a profound passion for what it takes to be a content creator in his climate back in the early-to-mid-2000s and knowing how he persevered in the face of what many would have assumed to be a pointless venture, I understand the sentiment all-too-well.

Rob Zombie

An oddity to many, I have deep admiration for the mind of Rob Zombie and his relentless assault on the minds of the masses. From House of 1000 Corpses to Halloween, Rob Zombie is a well-respected metal musician and film composer that refuses to bend the knee for anyone that disagrees with his vision. The confidence he has exuded even in his earliest ventures, to understanding his comfortability and his delicate care for his actors is a trait all entertainment creators should seek to aspire to.
